Textbook definition: The West Highland White Terrier, commonly known as the Westie, is a breed of dog from Scotland with a distinctive white harsh coat with a somewhat soft white undercoat. It is a medium-sized terrier, although with longer legs than other Scottish breeds of terrier. Westies are fiercely loyal, intelligent, energetic, fun dogs with terrier stubbornness, built for adventure.
Reality: They are an absolute HOOT to have in your household! To know one is to love one, quirks and all. My Westie, Ferguson, chases shadows and reflections in a never-ending quest to capture the invisible fairies that create these lights. He's nuts and he is happy about that....and that makes me happy!
