This artwork is entitled "Valley Rising" and commemorates the Almeda Fire that destroyed much of the communities of Talent and Phoenix, Oregon on September 8, 2020. These two cities are a part of Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley and they both are actively rising above the ashes and are beginning to reinvent themselves and to thrive. There can be rebirth from fire and I've tried to represent this with flowers in the hues of fire and new life.
